Lavinia

A rigid clutch, with a snap closure on its flap, finished in soft Italian leather and embellished with our velvet. It can be an elegant accessory for the evening, or a more informal one for any occasion, depending on the version of velvet chosen. The size is perfect to be carried by hand but large enough to contain the essentials. It can also be carried on the shoulder, thanks to the removable shoulder strap. It’s dedicated to Lavinia Fontana, mannerist painter of the 16th century, much loved by noblewomen for the splendid portraits she created. In fact, in her artworks, she was able to emphasise the female figures and the magnificence of their clothes, accessories and hairstyles.
