The Blue Soprarizzo Bag Collection

Soprarizzo is the finest and most complex velvet in our manual velvet production, thanks to the processing that combines two types of pile and creates iridescent and three-dimensional effects. Hand weaving requires years of experience and skill, and each piece has tiny imperfections that make it unique. Production is very slow and requires setting up an original jacquard loom from the 1700s, using perforated cards based on a pattern reproduced on graph paper.

With the new Liberty, Rinascimento and Leoni soprarizzo velvets in blue, we have created bags that will win you over with their aura of unparalleled exclusivity and luxury, adding to our collection of handmade velvet bags.

The Bevilacqua Tote is a day bag with a geometric line, capacious and with a strong personality. An accessory that creates the look because it is impossible not to notice it, especially in the new versions with Leoni and Liberty soprarizzo. The Leoni soprarizzo velvet pattern has an ancient and fascinating history. A Persian motif that appeared in Mesopotamia in the 9th century B.C. symbolizing power and strength, with two lions as guardians and defenders of the tree of life.

The Liberty velvet reflects all the elegance and sophistication of a classic motif of the early 20th century Floral style, with iris flowers framed by long tapered leaves.

Both velvets were chosen in a deep shade of blue which the chiaroscuro of the particular workmanship makes even more intense and vibrant.

The Anna bag is the perfect accessory to stand out on any occasion. Its leather shoulder strap is removable so it can be carried by hand or over the shoulder, while its interior compartment allows you to carry your essentials without having to sacrifice style. This minibag is a concentrate of beauty and functionality, available in two new fabric variants in blue: Liberty soprarizzo and Rinascimento soprarizzo velvet whose design represents an elaborate composition of natural elements, twigs with leaves and small lotus flowers, typical of the Renaissance.

The Petrol and Giardinetto pillow collection

The Giardinetto velvet cushion features a floral design with a harmonious blend of petals, stems and leaves, with the dynamism typical of 18th-century compositions and striking decorative elements from the Baroque period. The sophisticated decorative pattern of the velvet particularly stands out in the color Petrol, which skillfully mixes shades of warm, deep brown with a vibrant, lustrous blue, giving a chromatic effect capable of marveling the eye. It measures 45 cm x 45 cm.

The Giardino Antico cushion features a sumptuous multicolored “garden” patterned velvet with compositions formed by baskets filled with buds and flowers with large corollas, framed by garlands of leaves and small shoots. This pillow is also presented in the color Petrol in which, against a champagne-colored background, dusty blue with bronze-colored details stands out. Its measurements are 60 cm x 45 cm.

The Giardinetto lampas cushion repeats the elaborate floral pattern of the eponymous soprarizzo but the type of silk-made fabric enhances its luster and brilliance. The proposed colors are a warm antique gold, evoking a feeling of opulence, and a vibrant powder blue with refined silvery highlights. They measure 45 cm x 45 cm.
