The Bevilacqua Tote Bag was born embodying the essence of our Tessitura. Its clean, geometric lines were the perfect setting for one of our family’s most beautiful and cherished velvets, the precious hand-woven Leoni soprarizzo depicting the Bevilacqua Tessitura logo, with its strong historical and symbolic value. Nevertheless, its success has led us to offer it in other splendid velvets, creating a new look for it.
The Bevilacqua Tote Bag Squared has maintained the linearity and elegance of the shapes, but with smaller dimensions. This is the perfect day bag for a casual but refined look.

A handcrafted bag, created by skilled artisans from luxurious fabrics and soft velvets that are artistic and historical in heritage. These fabrics encapsulate the beauty of ancient designs and working methods handed down through the centuries.
The fabric variations of the Bevilacqua Tote Bag Squared
Although smaller than its predecessor, the Bevilacqua Tote Bag Squared is still a roomy bag. A practical zipper closure protects the contents from curious eyes, and the rigid shape makes it easy to find everything inside: your cell phone or house keys. The dimensions are 29 cm for the base, 25.5 cm for the height, and 13 cm for the depth. With a practical square shape, it can be carried by hand because it has soft leather handles in a color that matches the velvet. Or it can be carried on the shoulder, thanks to the long shoulder strap, also made of luxurious tone-on-tone leather. The sides of the bag are also made of the same leather. The interior, on the other hand, is lined with soft nubuck and contains a small zippered pocket embellished with the Bevilacqua logo.
The variants to date offered for the Bevilacqua Tote Bag Squared are: in the Rinascimento velvet in jade, indigo and black colors, and in the soprarizzo version in fuchsia, as well as in the Lune velvet in jade color.
The Rinascimento velvet carries an elaborate and refined Renaissance-inspired pattern. Its beauty and preciousness are highlighted by the lustrous silk pile and metallic yarns that illuminate the fabric with tiny golden gleams. In the jade and black colors, the background has a light neutral tone while in the indigo color version, the background is a lighter blue than the design. Details, such as the small hooks on the shoulder strap, are made of gilded metal.
The Rinascimento soprarizzo velvet version is the jewel of the collection, for the exclusivity of the fabric handmade with ancient methodologies and looms, and for the beauty of the color combination with the design in a vitaminic fuchsia on a golden background.

We also find the same details in the other version, made with Lune velvet in jade. An original design from our Tessitura, with abstract shapes reminiscent of the reflection of the moon in a water mirror, Art Deco-inspired and with a contemporary look.
