The showroom of LIA, our new distributor for South Korea, was recently opened in Seoul. The shop is located in Gangnam, considered the most refined, modern and dynamic district of the Korean capital. It’s also the area where the leading Korean banks and companies in the technology and entertainment sectors are based. But above all, it is known for its style, luxurious buildings and exclusive shops.
The LIA Concept
In this context, LIA’s concept has taken shape: refined spaces which embody their love for beauty. Their name reflects their philosophy: LIA stands for Life Inspiration & Art, meaning that luxury spaces and beautiful furnishings are perceived as works of art, and become sources of inspiration in life.
For this reason, they have made an accurate selection of the brands they are importing into South Korea, choosing among the excellences of Italian luxury production.
Besides Tessiture Bevilacqua, they represent other prestigious brands of furniture and design Made in Italy, including Ceccotti Collezioni, DePadova, Donghià, Mavu Studio, Rubelli Casa, Venini and Orsoni.
Not only distribution
These brands have also been incorporated into the interiors of the showroom, which consist of exhibition spaces on the ground floor, mainly displaying furniture companies and a lounge on the first floor. The Lounge, where the area dedicated to our Tessitura is located, also hosts exhibitions and events co-organized with art galleries. The lounge flooring is covered with Orsoni mosaics, and it’s furnished with pieces by LIA and decorative cushions and wall panels made with Bevilacqua velvets.
Each brand has a unique space that reflects its identity and integrates harmoniously with all the others. Refined and sober interiors, designed by Milan based C14 studio that has been able to highlight the products of fine craftsmanship showcased masterfully.
The showroom is the ideal context for a national clientele that understands and appreciates the quality and uniqueness of Italian luxury products. Bevilacqua fabrics fit perfectly into this vision which blends love for beauty, art and heritage: this is Venetian craftsmanship, interpreted with a contemporary twist.
