Tessitura Luigi Bevilacqua is proud to be part of Villa Héritage, the extraordinary installation designed by architect Pierre-Yves Rochon for the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2025. This immersive experience, part of the new “A Luxury Way” exhibition itinerary, celebrates the value of time and cultural heritage, bringing history and the contemporary into dialogue through a refined and harmonious interior design. The message is clear: luxury is not just aesthetics, but a multi-sensory experience of harmony, culture, and timeless charm.
Pierre-Yves Rochon selected some fabrics from our historical archives for the project’s furniture. These unique pieces of furniture, symbols of a luxury born of craftsmanship, research, and innovation, were made by prestigious Italian companies such as Pozzoli, Medea, and Zanaboni. Our damasks, velvets, and lampas give Villa Héritage a living soul, where each fabric tells a story and transforms the rooms into settings of pure elegance.
Bevilacqua Fabrics in Pierre-Yves Rochon’s Project
One of the distinctive elements of Villa Héritage is the use of precious fabrics, capable of evoking distant eras while at the same time fitting harmoniously into a contemporary language.
Grottesche Sfinge Handmade Soprarizzo Velvet in Red
A masterpiece of Venetian textile art, Grottesche Soprarizzo velvet is still woven by hand on looms dating back to the 18th century. Each centimeter of fabric is created entirely by hand, resulting in the characteristic double layer of pile that creates a unique play of light and shadow. The neoclassical grotesque pattern, with botanical and mythological elements, gives the rooms a theatrical and sumptuous dimension. The deep red version of this velvet, chosen for Villa Héritage, embodies the excellence of craftsmanship that links the past with the present.
Giardino 33077 Craquelé Damask in Pearl – Pozzoli
Introduced in our collection in 1930, the precious Giardino damask embodies all the majesty of the Baroque, with a rich and refined floral design. Its iridescent brilliance and satin texture enhance the contrast between the ground and the decoration, creating a dynamic and refined visual effect. Pozzoli used this fabric in the pearl shade to give its furniture a unique elegance, perfectly in keeping with the evocative atmosphere of Villa Héritage.
Griglia Heddle Velvet in Black – Pozzoli
Inspired by the refined decorative motifs of the 16th century, the Griglia heddle velvet combines an elegant geometric design with delicate floral elements, creating a harmonious balance between austerity and lightness. The special technique of weaving on a heddle loom gives the fabric a three-dimensional structure and an extraordinary richness of texture. In the black version chosen for Villa Héritage, Griglia velvet emphasizes the depth and theatrical character of Pozzoli’s signature furnishings and is in perfect dialogue with the installation’s color palette.
Broccato Lampas in Light Blue – Medea
Introduced to our collection in 1998, Broccato Lampas is a tribute to the splendor of the 18th century. Its complex weave, embellished with gold and silver details, creates a rich and refined decorative effect. The light blue shade chosen by Arch. Ronchon for Medea’s furnishings, is perfect for evoking the aristocratic charm of the Italian tradition, reinterpreted in a contemporary key.
31089 Craquelé Damask in Red-Gold – Zanaboni
Another exceptional fabric from our historic 1930 collection is the Craquelé damask. Made of pure silk, it features delicate vines with tiny leaves framing a majestic floral composition. The combination of red and gold adds depth and sophistication to Zanaboni’s furnishings. Chosen for the Villa Héritage, it enhances its luxurious atmosphere, creating an enveloping environment full of charm.
Villa Héritage: A Sensory Journey Between Memory and Innovation
A chameleon designer and master of luxury hospitality, Pierre-Yves Rochon, head of his eponymous interior design studio, has dedicated 45 years to the pursuit of true absolute luxury, designing prestigious interiors for hotel chains such as Four Seasons, Ritz, Fairmont, Waldorf Astoria and restaurants for Michelin-starred chefs such as Joël Robuchon and Alain Ducasse.
His installation at the Salone del Mobile.Milano is much more than an interior design project: it is a reflection on the value of cultural heritage and its reinterpretation in the present. Each room of Villa Héritage is a chapter in a story that combines history, art, and design, in which Bevilacqua fabrics play a key role in defining the identity of the spaces.
From the vibrant and theatrical red salon to the plum-colored library, to the winter garden that echoes the vibrant hues of nature, each room is a visual and tactile experience where textiles dialogue with light, sound, and matter. The central courtyard, dedicated to music, is the beating heart of this sensory journey, where design becomes a bridge between the past and the future.
The Venice of Luchino Visconti, the notes of Gustav Mahler, a winter garden inspired by the majestic greenhouses of the 19th century: Villa Héritage is an interior design concept that questions the value of beauty and time. Because “heritage is not a constraint, but a source of freedom,” says Pierre-Yves Rochon. “Understanding and mastering the heritage of our craft gives us the tools to reinvent and push the boundaries of design.
This philosophy is perfectly reflected in our work. For Tessitura Bevilacqua Luigi Bevilacqua, being part of this project means reaffirming the value of a tradition that looks forward, celebrating the past with an eye always on the future. Our fabrics are not just materials, but bridges between eras, testimony to a know-how that continues to inspire and innovate the world of interior design.
