We are happy to open the doors of our new showroom on the Grand Canal, completely renovated and ready to welcome customers and visitors.

An exhibition space in the heart of Venice

Our historical headquarters in Venice, located in Santa Croce 1320, has a large exhibition space that welcomes our customers from all over the world and passionate visitors who want to discover our ancient techniques of artisan fabric production. In fact, on the ground floor of our building, you will find the wooden looms from the 18th century with which we make our manual velvets. Crossing the laboratory, the doors of the showroom open: it’s a long room with high ceilings with another entrance on the opposite side, which can be accessed directly from the Grand Canal with boats.

Enhancing the beauty of our fabrics

If the looms are the beating heart of our headquarters, with their ceaseless rhythmic and powerful sound, our showroom is the eyes with which we show our finished work. We wanted a restyling that would enhance the room and at the same time create a welcoming space for our customers and guests and a functional area to present our collections of luxury fabrics.

We thus worked on a project with architects Diana Zabarella and Gianluca Bevilacqua who, being part of our family, has always breathed the art of weaving and the beauty of Venice. What was created is an elegant yet functional showroom where typical Venetian furniture elements combine with precious velvets, lampas, brocatelle, and satins.

The refined floor – in a warm brick color – is made with the ancient technique of Terrazzo Veneziano. A type of flooring of the Venetian lagoon tradition that was very popular in Venice in the ‘700 and that is back in vogue even in modern luxury residences. It is created with tiny fragments of marble and stones, assembled and then smoothed, with a handcrafted laying technique.

The chandeliers are Murano glass creations and the entrance door from the Grand Canal has a typically Venetian leaded stained glass window.

The walls are partly covered with Damask 31026 in red color that makes the room elegant and cozy It alternates with panels made of some of our most beautiful and representative fabrics that become at the same time a display and a decoration. Wooden showcases host other fabrics and luxury pillows of our collections, creating a roundup of the colors, decorative patterns, and textures of our production.
