After the burst of energy in the trendy colors for 2021 such as Pantone’s “Illuminating” yellow, it’s time for serenity and harmony. We present the shades that will be more in vogue in the new year and that we will propose for our fabrics.

The New 2022 Colors for Bevilacqua Fabrics

In 2022 we wish (as well to everyone) to recover harmony and inner peace, to overcome the turmoil of the last two years. We, therefore, thought of soft and relaxing shades for our fabrics, dusty but fresh, linked to natural elements.

This is how Celeste was born, a calm but bright blue, harmonious and serene, a color to fly lightly looking to the future with hope. A lightness that is not superficiality but a new positive attitude to recover the pleasure of life.

Celeste is flanked, on a chromatic scale, by Jade. An elegant and delicate green, a shade that can combine perfectly with neutrals, enlivening them, as well as with bright colors, softening them.

To these cool tones, we have matched a complementary color, Coral, a soft orange but full of gentle vivacity.  A mouth-watering apricot color that warms the heart and invigorates the mind, a symbol of creativity, confidence, and inner harmony.

These are our picks for the colors we’ll be offering in 2022, in line with the general trends of decor color experts.

Dusty Green

The colors proposed by the experts of interior design trends range in fact on dusty and pastel shades, discreet and relaxing. One of these is green, especially in the softer shades that, while embracing a wide spectrum, from the lightest to the darkest always maintain the effect of instilling peace and tranquility. In addition, green represents the heart chakra, which is that of interpersonal relationships, from which springs also the relationship with the environment around us and, in a broader sense, love.

Blue Tones

The colors of the sky and the sea evoke serenity but also evolution because in their continuous movement they renew and change. Shades of blue and soft blues will also be the protagonists of 2022 but will always be discreet, never too bold. Pantone, always attentive to trends, this year puts emphasis on innovation and the global transformation taking place. In announcing its color of the year, PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri, a shade of periwinkle blue, they followed these influences by enriching the qualities of blue with a violet-red undertone that displays “a spritely, joyous attitude and dynamic presence that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expressions”.

Pastel Colors

Colors such as green and blue are combined with other pastel colors, creating a palette that allows you to harmoniously mix and match delicate shades with brighter tones such as mauve, lilac, lavender. But also warm and earthy tones such as terracotta, peach, amber, apricot, salmon, sand, cream, and beige.

Green, blue, and apricot are perfect colors to help reduce stress, they can enter homes creating a stronger connection between the home and nature. Whether they are immersive solutions or only hinted at, they bring a breath of fresh air and new energy into the home. So, in addition to painting partitions or ceilings, they can be chosen for fine furniture fabrics: curtains, wallpaper fabrics, sofas, armchairs, or elements such as decorative pillows.
